Rotary Guest Days
With an excellent line up of program speakers, several "Guest Days" have been scheduled to help you TALK ABOUT ROTARY. Guest Days are designed for you to invite a guest to lunch. Consider any one of the below great programs. Prospective members have no lunch cost for their first two visits to Minneapolis Rotary. Simply contact the Rotary office (612-673-0166) with your guest reservation so that adequate seating may be arranged to accommodate everyone.

Fellowship Week Registration There will be no meeting on the 50th floor of the IDS Center on September 5! Instead, Rotarians are registering for Vocational Fellowship Week to visit a fellow club member's place of business. Please click on the Sign-Up Sheetto register now. You must check your FIRST, SECOND & THIRD CHOICES! You will be assigned to your selection on a first-come, first-served basis. The host Rotarian will contact you on Monday before the event with details on where you are going. Once you are registered, please make every effort to attend or contact your host to cancel your registration.
Tuesday Morning Paul Harris Gatherings
The Tuesday morning "Paul Harris Gathering" hearkens back to Rotary's earliest heritage, bringing together Minneapolis Rotary Club 9 members to engage in free flowing, informative dialogue on topical business and community issues. The gathering's goal is to strengthen individual relationships within Club 9 and further enhance the overall mission and work of the club.
When: Every other Tuesday, 7:30-8:30 a.m. Where: Dunn Brothers, Second Floor, 3rd Street, next to the Depot Schedule: September 2, 16 & 30, October 14 & 28, November 11& 25, December 9
1st Annual Taste of Lake Street for Hunger Relief
Rotary friends, we are quickly approaching the festive "Taste of Lake Street for Minneapolis Hunger Relief" event on September 13, 2008, from 3-7:00 p.m. Your help is still needed to promote event. Plan to attend yourself and bring lots of people! Additional admission tickets and other event info are available on-line at www.TasteOfLakeStreet.org. Volunteers are also needed for taking tickets, set-up, trash collection, tear down, ice cream scooping, food handling, parking, and more! Shifts are from 2-5:00 p.m. and 5-8:00 p.m. Email quinn@quinnandassociates.com if you can help. Spouses and adult children are welcome to volunteer as well, but all of us, including volunteers, will require an admission ticket in order to enter the event. We need you to sign up to help now, please. Thank you for helping to alleviate hunger in Minneapolis!
